Experienced Residential Childcare Assessors, we need you! We have a fantastic opportunity paying up to £32,000 + bonuses for a Level 5 qualified Residential Childcare Assessor based in Nottingham

This is predominantly a work from home based role, with minimal travel within the Midlands as and when required.

Residential Childcare Assessor duties:

Successfully delivering Childcare qualifications on the residential pathway up to Level 5
Providing the required level of support for each Apprentice to enable timely successful completions 
Ensuring learners remain on programme by regularly checking in and carrying out progress reviews, either remotely or in the workplace on a 1:1 basis
Prepare learners for the end point assessment (EPA) and set SMART targets to support them to achieve on time
Maintaining regular contact with employers during the whole of the learning journey, keeping momentum and energy throughout the qualification
Working to overcome any barriers to learning and adapting delivery to meet learner’s needs
Comply with and follow all processes within Safeguarding guidelines, ensuring the safety of all learners is paramount
Ensuring learner files are fully compliant and up to date
Be responsible for completing and maintaining appropriate internal and external quality standards

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Tutor / Assessor (any of the following (CAVA, A1, PTLLS, EAT, D32 etc)
Relevant occupational competency within the Care sector
Knowledge of the new standards and supporting learners in the run up to the End Point Assessment (EPA)
Up to date knowledge of all relevant changes within the Training & Education sector – funding / qualifications / eligibility
Strong communicator, able to effectively manage a caseload of apprentices and demonstrate good time management skills
