Print Assistant/ Technician – £9.10 – £10 P/H

 

An exciting, new opportunity to work for a long-standing, family run, Manufacturing and Design business as a Print Assistant/ Technician, no weekend work! In this role, you will support the busy Design department, by printing and cutting all internal orders for vinyl artwork. This is a Full-Time Temporary to Permanent Contract, giving you the chance to get to know the company.

 

We are interested in speaking with people who are friendly, able to work well in a team and flexible. Ideally, you will have IT qualifications too, but this is not essential.

 

The hours of work for this position are 8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 4:15pm on Fridays, and overtime is also available!

 

Duties and Responsibilities of the Print Assistant/ Technician:

Supporting a busy design environment
Printing and cutting all internal orders
Working with Vinyl
Using a PC to open files, to set printing
Operating a large format printer
Printing onto Vinyl
Operating the laminator machine
Operating a large format printer
To ensure that printed artwork is produced to the highest quality
 

Requirements of the Print Assistant/ Technician:

Ability to work within manufacturing/busy office environment
Computer literate
Fast learner
Able to work to deadlines
Attention to detail
Capable of doing some lifting for moving heavy vinyl rolls
Time management
