Delivery Driver Role Available – Based in the Y017 area – Full time Permanent – £

Are you looking for a Full-time position as a Delivery Driver for a farmer-owned and controlled agricultural merchants? They supply animal feeds and all other farm requisites throughout Lancashire, Cumbria, North Midlands, Wales & Scotland. To be a Delivery Driver you must have previous Delivery driving experience, for example dealing with clients/ customers but driving with care.

£ per annum

40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 days

Duties and Requirements:

•                     Safe Loading of Agricultural Products, feeds ect

•                     Security of vehicle, load, and sheeting

•                     Carrying out a Drivers Daily walk round check, recording and reporting of any defects

•                     Liaising with LGV Garage, Warehouse and Agricultural Transport staff

•                     Ensuring Correct operation of Vehicle discharge equipment to ensure safe delivery of feed products from vehicle to farm storage

•                     Making sure you are delivering products safely to customers and following up with customers instructions as much as you possibly can

•                     Adhering to Safe working practices and health and safety instructions

•                     Keeping the work vehicle clean.

Requirements:

•                     Previous Delivery experience

•                     Good Customer service skills

•                     Ability to work as part of a team
